Cira meet us at the pickup spot and she was a pleasure to talk to. We went out on the boat and our first stop was stingray city. Our tour guides were great and rangled some stingrays for us to hold and pet. Then we went to Rum Reef and the fish and marine life were amazing! Our last stop was Starfish Island where our tour guides caught an iguana and we enjoyed playing with the starfish. It was truly a perfect day!! Read more

Enjoy a Memorable Day in the Cayman Islands
This five-hour private charter stops at many of Grand Cayman’s biggest attractions. Click the headlines below to learn more about them!
Stingray City lies between Morgan Harbor and Rum Point in North Sound off the northern coast of Grand Cayman. It is situated on a sandbar where the water is only 3 to 5 feet deep, providing visitors an opportunity to interact with South Caribbean stingrays.
These clever creatures started congregating in the area decades ago when fishermen returning from their fishing expeditions would toss the leftovers overboard. The stingrays began to associate the sound of incoming boat motors with food, and thus, Stingray City was born!
At Stingray City, you can feed the stingrays by hand, hold them, and even kiss them for good luck! We’ll teach you how to interact with these gentle creatures in a safe and respectful manner, so all you need to worry about is having fun.
Located about 5 to 7 minutes by boat from Stingray City, the Coral Garden is an enclave about 300 square yards in size. With depths varying from 6 to 10 feet, it’s the perfect spot for snorkeling in the warm Caribbean Sea.
Here you can find many different species of fish darting in and out of reefs and swimming among the colorful coral. Some of the marine life that call this area home include yellowtail, parrotfish, angelfish, sergeant majors, blue tangs, grunts, stingrays, and lobsters. These animals are used to the presence of humans and do not fear snorkelers, allowing you to experience them up close.
We will also stop at some of our favorite snorkeling spots known only to locals. Where are they? You’ll have to join us for a tour to find out!
Starfish Point is a beautiful beach located about 10 minutes from Stingray City. It gets its name from the colorful starfish (or sea stars) that thrive in its waters.
Get ready for a hands-on experience! Though commonly called “fish”, sea stars are actually echinoderms, a type of invertebrate. Because of this, their surface feels very hard and spiny — a feeling you will discover for yourself when you hold them (underwater)! Starfish Point is another one of Grand Cayman’s natural marvels that both adults and children alike are sure to love.
Mangroves are a type of tree capable of living in salt water, and they can only be found along tropical coastlines. Their intricate root adaptations called “pro roots” look a lot like tentacles, giving them a marine feeling that matches the Caribbean atmosphere. Their striking roots are submerged in the water while the rest of the tree remains above the water line. Oftentimes, the roots themselves are amazing to look at while snorkeling — entire communities of sponges, small crabs, and other incredible creatures make these roots their homes!
While most plants need naturally occurring fresh water to live, mangroves make it themselves through desalination. This means that the trees use a process called reverse osmosis, where they take in salt water and filter out the salt, leaving them with fresh water.
As its name suggests, the Kaibo Beach Restaurant is located right on the beach, allowing you to enjoy snacks and drinks while soaking up some rays. They also offer regular entrees in addition to burgers and sandwiches, all of which you can feast on while admiring the ocean. This restaurant offers delicious food at a reasonable price while boasting an unbeatable atmosphere.
Please note that the meal is not included in the charter price.
